A common misunderstanding is that photographers usually specialize in only one specific style. At Love Journal, we believe a great photographer should be able to adapt to different styles and create images that suit each couple.
Even within one session, the style can naturally evolve depending on the location, the outfits, and the atmosphere. For example, when we are shooting in front of grand architecture or dramatic natural landscapes, we may create more of a fine art, editorial-inspired feeling. When the light is perfect or a genuine moment happens, we also focus on capturing more natural and candid emotions.
Sometimes our photographers will simply chat with couples during the shoot, creating a relaxed environment where they forget about the camera. Those genuine interactions often lead to the most authentic and memorable images.
Ultimately, every couple has their own personality and story. We believe the photography style should be a reflection of who they are, rather than a fixed style that is applied to everyone.
