Q. What's your photography style?
A. Over the years we have developed a style that is balanced with the contemporary likes of today, while bolstered by our enduring experience in the photographic craft. The combination of fast paced editorial photojournalism and the methodical yet creative fine art portraiture makes up our style of wedding photography. This is the love and care we pour into your journey to husband and wife, which is LoveJournal Photography.

Q. How far in advanced should I book before my wedding day?
A. We recommend booking an appointment with us to discuss your wedding photography plans, however most of our clients often book 6-12 months in advance. We suggest booking as soon as possible as we constantly receive new clients, and may not be able to accommodate you if you book to close to your wedding date.

Q. Will you photograph interstate or overseas?
A. Yes, we certainly do! We have photographed all across Australia from Melbourne to Alice Springs, and are more than happy work with you wherever your special day may be.

Q: How will transportation work on the day of photography?
A: We will provide all the transportation on the day of photography, however clients will need to arrange their own transportation to and from our studio.

Q: How will payment be made? Does the final price include GST?
A: A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to confirm your photography date and service. If you need to reschedule for any reason, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance, and we provide a free rescheduling service. The remaining 80% balance is due on the day of the photography. Our prices include GST.

Q: Are there any hidden costs?
A: All of our packages are fully inclusive; there are NO hidden or extra costs on the day. The only thing we ask is that you provide your own meals and drinks on the photography day.

Q: What if the weather is not ideal for the photography day?
A: We will contact you around 1-3 days before the day of photography to confirm all the details. If the forecasted weather for your day is not ideal, we will work with you to reschedule to another day.

Q: How long until we are able to receive our finalised photographs?
A: You will receive an email with a link to your photographs on 5-7 days after the photo shoot. Once you have chosen the photographs that you love, it will take another 25-30 days to edit them. We will then send these fine edited photographs for you to proof. Any enlargements and albums will take roughly 6-9 weeks to process and/or be shipped to you.

Q: Do you post albums overseas?
A: Yes, we can ship the album to your country. The shipping cost depends on the country. Please contact us for more details. Any digital photos will be provided to you on an online drive.

Q. Do we require visa to visit Australia? Is Love Journal a legal company to provide photography service in Australia?
A. Australia require visa for most of countries. Please check with Australia visa department to get your visa before visiting Australia.
Love Journal is an Australia register company. We can provide photography service in Australia and New Zealand.

Q. How far in advanced should I book my pre-wedding photography?
A. We recommend book your photography service 1-6 months in advance. We suggest booking as soon as possible as we constantly receive new clients, and may not be able to accommodate you if you book to close to your travel date. Please enquiry your photography date and service, then get your travel visa. Please pay the deposit to secure the date after visa is granted.

Q. Do you have recommend accommodations?
A. Love Journal is 11KM from Melbourne CBD. We suggest to book your hotel in the city. It's very easy to get to our store from city by public transport. Please see below accomodations we recommend.

A: All of our prices include GST. There is a 20% deposit needed to secure your booking, with the remaining balance to be paid in full on the day of photography.

Q: Are there any hidden costs?
A: All of our packages are fully inclusive; there are NO hidden or extra costs on the day. The only thing we ask is that you provide your own meals and drinks on the photography day.

Q: How many gowns do you have, what are the sizes, can I try the gowns period before the photography?
A: We have about 200 wedding and evening gowns available in store. They are designed for Asian bride sizes between UK size 6-14. Most of the gowns have ribbon at back, so the sizes can also be adjusted.

A: Please click here to see some of gowns. Please note we updated our gowns every month, so the gowns may be different.

Q: What if the weather is not ideal for the photography day?
A: We will contact you around 1-3 days before the day of photography to confirm all the details. If the forecasted weather for your day is not ideal, we will work with you to reschedule to the nearest day. We suggest you stay in Melbourne for 4-5 days if your photo shoot is 1-2 days.

Q: How do we communicate after the photo shoot? How long until we are able to receive our finalised photographs?
A: We will communicate via emails. You will receive an email with a link to your photographs 2-3 weeks after the photo shoot. Once you have chosen the photographs that you love, it will take another 2-3 weeks to edit them. We will then send these fine edited photographs for you to proof. Any enlargements and albums will take roughly 4 weeks to process and/or be shipped to you.

Q: Do you post albums and enlargements overseas?
A: Yes, we are able to ship them to you overseas free of charge if you provide your postal address via email before the album production. Any digital photos will be provided to you in an online drive.
